OnlyFans vs Fansly: Fees, Features & Trials

OnlyFans and Fansly both sell creator subscriptions with pay-per-view and tips on top, but they differ on pricing tools and AI rules: Fansly offers subscription tiers and first-month promotions and bans photorealistic AI, while OnlyFans keeps one subscription price and allows AI content captioned as such. OnlyFans is by far the better known of the two. Which fits you depends mostly on where the creator you want actually posts.

The basics of each

On both, fans subscribe to a creator, unlock pay-per-view content and send tips. OnlyFans' terms describe a monthly subscription price, if the creator sets one. Fansly lists three core ways to earn: tips, locked pay-per-view content and subscriptions.

OnlyFans has far more public interest: around 11.1 million monthly US Google searches for onlyfans (DataForSEO, October 2026). We did not measure Fansly's.

Fees and pricing tools

OnlyFans' fee is 20% of each fan payment, according to its terms. We did not find Fansly's commission in the help pages we read, so we do not quote one.

Fansly lets creators offer several subscription tiers, multi-month plans, first-month promotions and private discount codes. Switching tiers starts the new one at full price and forfeits the days left on the old one.

Trials, discovery and AI

On AI, OnlyFans allows AI content captioned with #ai or #AIGenerated, while Fansly does not allow photorealistic AI content at all.

Which suits whom

Both charge in US dollars. Fansly suits fans who like tiers and a recommendation feed; OnlyFans suits fans following a specific, well-known creator who posts there.
